Our first visit to Coulsdon coincided with a very wet early autumn leaving the course very sogging and playing very long. Our largest meet for sometime, each day 40 odd intrepid golfers set off into the wilds of Croydon. They encountered lions (cats), tigers (a fox) and bears (a bloody great Alsatian determined to steal Chris Bailey’s golf ball!).
The food was terrific, the company even better and a good time was had by all! (Your correspondent may have had a few too many glasses of vino, and forgot to take any notes….)
